Tasks are how you put Accounting Assistant to work. You describe what you want done, submit it, and the AI works through it step by step — pausing to ask for your input whenever it needs it, and always waiting for your final approval before posting anything.
Go to Task board. The task type defaults to Process purchase invoices — the only task type currently available.
In the Additional context field, describe the scope of the task. For example: the month and year of invoices to process, the client company, or any other detail that helps the assistant narrow down what to work on. Then click the submit button to create the task.

The task card is created and appears in the Planned column.
When you are ready to run the task, open the card in Planned and click Start task. The card moves to Running and the AI begins working through the processing pipeline.

When the task is started, it moves to Running.

If the AI reaches a point where it is not confident in a decision or needs more information, the task moves to Needs attention. Open the card to see the task detail panel, which shows all pipeline steps and their current status.
The AI will have left a message explaining what it needs. Reply in the chat interface to provide the information or confirm a decision. Once you respond, the task resumes automatically.

A task may move in and out of Needs attention multiple times during a single run, depending on how many decisions require your input.
